Writer
Emma Haines is a writer, hypnotherapist and carer. Her eldest son Ted experienced a brain injury at birth, which opened her eyes to the complexities of mothering as a carer. Having previously worked as a journalist and sub-editor in women’s fashion magazines, she now finds great fulfilment in writing about topics that matter to the disabled community.
The Motability Scheme is the service that keeps disabled people moving. It’s delivered by Motability Operations and overseen by the Motability Foundation, which helps disabled people make the journeys they choose.
