Video transcript:

How would you describe your business in three words?

Caprice-Kwai: Fun, eclectic and unique.

Charlie: Creative, humorous and thinking outside the box.

What is your favourite thing about your business?

Caprice-Kwai: I think it’s the joy that I bring to my customers through all of my designs and just seeing people’s faces when they see new designs, new colours, and just the accessories in general, just making people feel empowered through the accessories.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Charlie: I’m big in my health and fitness, so I’m a big swimmer and spend a lot of time in the gym and lots of time in the pool. I’m also a massive foodie and I love travelling for all different kinds of food.

What’s the best advice you’ve received?

Charlie: Best advice I’ve been given is just give it a go. And I know that’s a cliche and everyone says it, but a lot of people want to start things, whether it’s business, or whether it is a project but get too caught up in perfectly planning it. And what if it goes wrong? But actually, you’ll learn a lot by just doing it. And if you make mistakes, you make mistakes, everyone does. And that is where the learning happens, rather than getting it right the first time.

What ambitions do you have for the future?

Caprice-Kwai: Yeah, I’d love to see my products in stores. Right now, I’m working on a rebrand and new products, which I’m really excited about, and basically just working on the behind the scenes of the business, like the business side of things.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking to start a business?

Caprice-Kwai: I’d say just start. The hardest part is starting. Once you start, just get into the swing of things, you know. Just go for it.
