Over 7,000 visitors attended the event to view a wide range of vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs), Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs), scooters and powered wheelchairs. With more than 80 vehicles on display and over 450 test drives taken, the event offered something for everyone.
A particular highlight was the introduction of our new WAV and adaptation showcase, allowing visitors to explore which option was more suitable for them, with specialists on hand to answer questions. We also had Team BRIT attend, where visitors could experience competitive motorsport first–hand through their simulator.
We wanted to share some feedback, from a visitor at the event: “I found the event really helpful. I got to check which cars best suited my needs and budget, and left knowing exactly which car and adaptation to order.”
What’s next?
Motability Scheme Live, Harrogate will be on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 August, at the Great Yorkshire Events Centre. Then we’re heading to Northern Ireland for our final event of the year. Join us at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn, on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 September.
