Allison was a healthcare assistant before a medical event meant that she had to stop. The car enables Allison and her husband Rodney to go wherever and whenever they want. Most importantly, Allison can attend hospital appointments.

Rodney says, “The service from the dealership and the Motability Scheme has been first class.”

MP Kate adds: “It has been wonderful to meet Allison and Rodney, and to see the difference her vehicle has made to her life first hand.”

Nigel Fletcher, CEO of the Motability Foundation, adds: “In the first nine months of 2024, we awarded £100,000 of grants to help people in Halifax access the Motability Scheme. I thank Allison for highlighting the difference a Scheme vehicle can make.”

The Motability Scheme is the service that keeps disabled people moving. It’s delivered by Motability Operations and overseen by the Motability Foundation, which helps disabled people make the journeys they choose.
