YOU WILL NEED
- White card
- Pressed flowers
- Ruler and pencil
- Scissors or craft knife
- A piece of thick hessian fabric
- Thin wooden skewer
- Glue gun
- Glue
- Hole punch
STEP 1
Use a card, ruler and pencil to create your desired bookmark size. Cut out the base with scissors or a craft knife.
STEP 2
Cut hessian fabric slightly smaller than the bookmark, fray edges, set aside. Gather pressed flowers for the bookmark.
STEP 3
Plan your layout. Apply thin glue lines to card edges, place hessian strings for border pattern, and secure in place.
STEP 4
Fold hessian strands in half, tie one end to create a tassel, trim evenly, and thread string through to form a loop.
STEP 5
Carefully put glue on the card with a thin wooden skewer to secure the flowers. Lightly press down the flowers to stick well.
STEP 6
Punch a hole in the bookmark, thread tassel loop, and secure it by pulling ends through. Trim excess glue, and maybe laminate your work. Your bookmark is ready.
