Rosemary Dun is the author of rom-com The Trouble With Love, a warm, witty novel about what happens when the one that got away comes back. Her heroine Polly faces life's ups and downs, including raising a daughter with hearing difficulties, with humour and heart.
Rosemary’s journey
“I didn’t take the most direct route to becoming a published author. I came back to writing after my brother suffered a brain injury. At the time, writing became my anchor and helped me make sense of things.
“I'd had some early success: short story prizes, interest from agents, and I was halfway through a Creative Writing MA at Bath Spa. Then, out of nowhere, Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) struck, along with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. But even when my body said no, the writing part of me kept saying yes.
“I'm currently editing two new novels and planning a sequel to The Trouble With Love, I've already got the title: The Trouble With Ever After.”
